Location Permission Requirements

Please make sure to take the following steps after installing the Eaze Driver App

NEW! iOS Location Permission Requirements (iOS 14)

iOS 14 introduces a new concept around Location permissions called "Precise Location". In order to assign you orders and track mileage Precise Location must be enabled at all times along with having Location Access set to Always.

After installing the Driver App on your device please do the following:

Open Settings -> Tap "Privacy" -> Tap "Location Services" -> Find "Eaze Driver" -> Set to Always and Enable Precise Location (see screenshot below)

Note: Not enabling Precise Location & setting to Always will cause issues with order assignments and mileage tracking.

iOS Location Permission Requirements (iOS 12 & 13)

After installing the Driver App on your device please do the following:

Open Settings -> Tap "Privacy" -> Tap "Location Services" -> Find "Eaze Driver" -> Set to "Always" (see screenshot below)

Android Location Permission Requirements

After installing the Driver App on your device please do the following:

Open Settings -> Tap "Location" -> Tap "App permissions" -> Find "Eaze Driver" -> Set to "Allow all the time" (see screenshot below)

Please Note:

If "While Using the App" is selected we'll be unable to assign you new orders or track your mileage while you are using another app like Google Maps or Waze. 

The Eaze Driver App will only track your location when you are logged in and set to "ON" or "HOLD". Once you are off duty and set yourself to "OFF" inside the app, your location will no longer be tracked. You can also log out of the App when you are done with your shift.
