What is Eaze Compassion?
Compassionate care programs were the cornerstone of California’s original medical-only cannabis market. But while Proposition 64 gave many adults access to legal cannabis for the first time, it implemented regulatory changes and heavy tax burdens that made it impossible for compassionate care programs to keep their doors open. That meant low-income veterans and those suffering from AIDS, cancer, ALS, epilepsy, and many more conditions lost their medicine. The Dennis Peron and Brownie Mary Act (SB 34), passed in 2019, allowed compassionate care programs back into California.
