Keep your concentrates fresh and potent with these tips.
Cannabis concentrates are highly sensitive to their environment. Proper storage and care will retain the potency, flavor, and consistency of your concentrates. Concentrate follows many of the same restrictions as cannabis flower does, but remember that containers matter depending on the type of concentrate and consistency.

Keep away from sunlight
-
Prolonged exposure to sunlight can degrade the potency, flavor, and coloration of your wax. Also depending on the consistency of the product, it could melt the wax into a looser consistency.

Avoid air exposure
-
As always, oxygen degrades everything it touches over time. It is best to keep concentrates in an airtight container for long-term storage. If you plan on using your concentrate within a few days, it is not necessary that the containers are airtight, but it is still best to keep the container closed while not in use to reduce the oxygen exposure.

Keep them cool
-
Like most cannabis products, these are shelf-stable so long as they are kept in a cool, dark place like a kitchen cupboard. However, if you live in an environment where your home often heats up over 68-70℉ it is highly recommended you keep your products stored in a refrigerator or freezer. Be sure these concentrates are kept in an airtight container if they are kept in the fridge/freezer to avoid exposure to added moisture.

Avoid heat
-
Heat can degrade the potency and flavor of the product if it becomes overexposed. This can dry out the concentrate and slightly weaken the potency and flavor profiles. Do not keep cannabis concentrates stored in your car!
